arXiv, 2003 We conjecture on the structure of the quark vacuum from a viewpoint somewhat different from, but perhaps supplementary to, standard philosophies. Using a rather simple dynamical Hamiltonian model, vacuum excitations carrying helicities 0 and +/-1 are discussed in connection with the dynamical stability of solutions.
