Summary: : An endocervical speculum has been devised for use with the colposcope in the evaluation of abnormal cytologic smears. Lt allows inspection of the endocervical canal and helps delineate the uppermost limits of the dysplastic and/or CIS lesion in those patients in whom it extends into the endocervical canal.
