Engine Speed Control using Online ANN for Vehicle with EMDAP-CVT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Controlling engine speed corresponding to load variations and road condition has always been a challenge to automotive engineers. However, with the introduction of Electro-Mechanical Dual Acting Pulley Continuously Variable Transmission (EMDAP-CVT ...

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Stabilizing sliding mode control design and application for a dc motor: Speed control

open access: yes, 2012
The regulation by sliding mode control (SMC) is recognized for its qualities of robustness and dynamic response. This article will briefly talk about the regulation principles by sliding mode as well as the application of this approach to the adjustment ...

DIGITAL SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM WITH INTEGRAL-PROPORTIONAL CONTROL

open access: yesIFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983
Abstract A microprocessor based speed control system for a dc motor drive is described. The motor is fed by a three phase fully controlled bridge the delay angle of which is set directly by the microprocessor. To control the speed of the drive a PI control algorithm is implemented first and the experimental results are obtained for changes in the ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

DC Motors Speed Control

open access: yesDEStech Transactions on Engineering and Technology Research, 2017
A DC motor is a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. DC motors are inherently high-speed and low-torque. In this paper, we will use gears to solve the problem of lowering the speed and increasing the torque provided by the motor.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.
