Large Language Model‐Based Chatbots in Higher Education
The use of large language models (LLMs) in higher education can facilitate personalized learning experiences, advance asynchronized learning, and support instructors, students, and researchers across diverse fields. The development of regulations and guidelines that address ethical and legal issues is essential to ensure safe and responsible adaptation

AbstractWe have used Brillouin scattering to determine the speed of sound in (and hence longitudinal modulus of) A‐ and B‐DNA fibers. The speed of sound is very sensitive to the degree of hydration of the fibers, and measurements have to be made at laser powers below 5 mW to avoid local heating and dehydration.

The Physics of Fluids, 1959
In a high-temperature gas, the speed of sound depends upon the chemical composition, sound frequency, and chemical reaction rates. Two limiting sound speeds are normally distinguished: that of ``frozen'' or constant chemical composition, and the ``equilibrium'' sound speed.

Laplace and the Speed of Sound
Isis, 1964OR A CENTURY and a quarter after Isaac Newton initially posed the problem in the Principia, there was a very apparent discrepancy of almost 20 per cent between theoretical and experimental values of the speed of sound. To remedy such an intolerable situation, some, like Newton, optimistically framed additional hypotheses to make up the difference ...
