A Novel Motor-Speed-Regulation Method
The traditional doubly-fed motor has less reliability because it needs carbon brushes and sliding rings which are not highly reliable. The brushless doubly-fed machine costs a lot for its framework requires special designing and processing.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Nonlinear Dual-Mode Control of Variable-Speed Wind Turbines with Doubly Fed Induction Generators
This paper presents a feedback/feedforward nonlinear controller for variable-speed wind turbines with doubly fed induction generators. By appropriately adjusting the rotor voltages and the blade pitch angle, the controller simultaneously enables: (a ...

Power systems with high renewable energy sources: A review of inertia and frequency control strategies over time [PDF]
Traditionally, inertia in power systems has been determined by considering all the rotating masses directly connected to the grid. During the last decade, the integration of renewable energy sources, mainly photovoltaic installations and wind power ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENT OF SPEED REGULATION OF URBAN TRAFFIC
Speed regulation of motor vehicles has widely affected the living environment and standard of residents in urban areas. It is believed that lower speed of motor vehicles could decrease the traffic accident rate on roads.
