Abstract Alternative organizations must continuously address conflicts that emerge regarding diverging prioritizations and interpretations of autonomy, solidarity, and responsibility. We explore how tensions around alternative moral principles can be navigated through relational processes that attune to others' needs, emotions, and concerns.

Abstract Our study challenges a commonly held assumption in the legitimacy and organizational change literatures: that the legitimacy of a change project is closely tied to, and dependent upon, the legitimacy of the change agent promoting it. Drawing on an in‐depth, three‐and‐a‐half‐year qualitative study of a major transformation within a French ...

Radiation Shielding Analysis of a Spent Fuel Dry Storage Cask for FA300 Spent Fuel Assemblies [PDF]
Spent fuel dry storage technology is one of the most important intermediate storage technologies for spent fuel, because of its high security, good economic and easy to expand the scale. This article aims at designing a spent fuel dry storage cask which can contain 21 FA300 spent fuel assemblies.

Monitoring Burn-Up of Spent Fuel Assemblies by Gamma Spectrometry
IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 2013High-resolution gamma-spectrometry (HRGS) has been used for monitoring burn-up of VVER-440 spent fuel assemblies. The objective is to support burn-up calculations by an independent experimental method. Measurements were carried out using a collimator tube built into the concrete wall of the service pit in the reactor block at the Paks Nuclear Power ...

Calibration of spent fuel measurement assembly
Radiation Physics and Chemistry, 2014Abstract The LVR-15 research reactor (Czech Republic) had been converted from the highly enriched IRT-2M to the low enriched IRT-4M fuel. For the possibility of the independent pre-transport evaluation of IRT-2M burnup, a spectrometric system was developed.

Dynamic analysis of storage racks for spent fuel assemblies
Nuclear Engineering and Design, 1979Abstract The dynamic response of storage racks for spent fuel assemblies subjected to base excitation is calculated. While classical methods of linear structural dynamics may be adequate at low levels of excitation, nonlinear effects due to uplift, for example, can no longer be neglected at high excitation levels.
