Addition theorems for spin spherical harmonics. I Preliminaries
We develop a systematic approach to deriving addition theorems for, and some other bilocal sums of, spin spherical harmonics. In this first part we establish some necessary technical results.

Synchrotron Radiation for Quantum Technology
Materials and interfaces underpin quantum technologies, with synchrotron and FEL methods key to understanding and optimizing them. Advances span superconducting and semiconducting qubits, 2D materials, and topological systems, where strain, defects, and interfaces govern performance.

High-Order Harmonics Generation Using Spherical and Non-Spherical Nanoparticles
The conversion efficiency of 800 nm, 65 fs radiation toward high-order harmonic generation (HHG) in laser-induced plasmas containing spherical and non-spherical nanoparticles (NPs) produced during the laser ablation of different metals in water using ...

Raising and Lowering operators of spin-weighted spheroidal harmonics
In this paper we generalize the spin-raising and lowering operators of spin-weighted spherical harmonics to linear-in-$\gamma$ spin-weighted spheroidal harmonics where $\gamma$ is an additional parameter present in the second order ordinary differential ...

A bespoke multilayer thin film configuration has been designed, which overcomes the material dependency of conventional isotope exchange Raman spectroscopy (IERS). This universal IERS methodology is efficient, non‐destructive and provides additional structural information and time resolution, which can be further extended to various isotopic elements ...

Limitations and Performance Analysis of Spherical Sector Harmonics for Sound Field Processing
Developing spherical sector harmonics (SSHs) benefits sound field decomposition and analysis over spherical sector regions. Although SSHs demonstrate potential in the field of spatial audio, a comprehensive investigation into their properties and ...

Spherical harmonics coeffcients for ligand-based virtual screening of cyclooxygenase inhibitors [PDF]
Background: Molecular descriptors are essential for many applications in computational chemistry, such as ligand-based similarity searching. Spherical harmonics have previously been suggested as comprehensive descriptors of molecular structure and ...

Spherical polyharmonics and Poisson kernels for polyharmonic functions
We introduce and develop the notion of spherical polyharmonics, which are a natural generalisation of spherical harmonics. In particular we study the theory of zonal polyharmonics, which allows us, analogously to zonal harmonics, to construct Poisson ...
