Anomalous Stiffening of a Conjugated Polymer During Electrochemical Oxidation
The electromechanical response of a thienothiophene‐based conjugated polymer with triethylene glycol side chains is investigated. Electrochemical nanoindentation and atomic force microscopy reveal a modest and reversible increase in elastic modulus at room temperature upon electrochemical oxidation.

Remarks on the mean-square values of the geomagnetic field and its components
When considering functions on the Earth's (spherical) surface, mean-square values are often used to indicate their (relative) magnitude. If a function is separated into it, (essentially) spherical harmonic components then, provided these individual ...

Role of Histidine‐Containing Peptoids in Accelerating the Kinetics of Calcite Growth
Amphiphilic histidine‐containing peptoids mimic carbonic anhydrase (CA) to accelerate calcite step growth. In the presence of Zn2+, they promote the deprotonation of HCO3−, the desolvation of Ca2+, and the reorganization of interfacial hydration layers, thereby reducing the activation barrier for calcite growth.

Local Spherical Harmonics for Facial Shape and Albedo Estimation
In this paper, we present a novel facial albedo and 3D shape recovery method with a local spherical harmonic illumination model. From a face in an image, the proposed method can produce a high-quality 3D shape and albedo using a novel parameterization of

The Wigner-Eckart Theorem for Reducible Symmetric Cartesian Tensor Operators
We explicitly establish a unitary correspondence between spherical irreducible tensor operators and cartesian tensor operators of any rank. That unitary relation is implemented by means of a basis of integer-spin wave functions that constitute ...

Cold Quad‐Modal Nanocomplex for Precise and Quantitative In Vivo Stem Cell Tracking
Multimodal albumin–bismuth sulfide–superparamagnetic iron oxide (ABS) nanocomplexes are developed for stem cell tracking across four different imaging modalities: MRI, MPI, MSOT, and CT. Combining its flexibility with high sensitivity, this quad‐modal imaging agent enables a robust quantification of ABS‐labeled stem cells in vivo.
