In this study, a new phylogenetic study reclassifies the moth subfamilies Dyopsinae and Thiacidinae. For the first time, Thiacidas postica—the type species of Thiacidinae—was sequenced and shown to belong within Dyopsinae, in the Ceroctena clade. As a result, Thiacidinae is reinstated as the tribe Thiacidini (stat. nov.) within Dyopsinae.

The central complex is a group of midline‐spanning neuropils in the brain of insects with a key role in goal‐directed orientation and navigation. Immunolabeling in 25 species, ranging from bristletails to flies, shows that neurons containing peptides of the tachykinin family of neuropeptides are present in most species studied.

A 4‐year survey of Cremastra appendiculata var. variabilis pollinators was conducted using a commercially available sensor camera throughout the flowering period. Additionally, sensor cameras and interval photography were used simultaneously to compare the number of videos capturing bumblebees.
