Four Year Experiments on the Control of the Red-Spider
Journal of Economic Entomology, 1924General notes are given as to the status of the Red spider Paraletranychus pilosus C. & F., in Pennsylvania. Two methods of control, the delayed-dormant and summer applications are discussed. Miscible oils in the delayed dormant kill a large percentage of the eggs while lime sulphur has been found ineffective.

Lessons learned after three years of SPIDER operation and the first MITICA integrated tests
2022ITER envisages the use of 2+1 heating neutral beam injectors as part of the auxiliary heating and current drive system, to help demonstrate the desired goals during its various phases of operation. The 16.5 MW expected neutral beam power per injector is several notches higher than worldwide existing facilities.

The prey caught by mature female Argiope argentata was censused over a period of one year. Ten webs (when available) were examined five times each day, at two-hourly intervals, between 09.00 and 17.00 hours. The prey-animals seen in the webs were classified into orders and lower taxa, where possible.
