Chamber‐Specific Decellularized Extracellular Matrices Differentially Modulate Cardiomyocyte Subtypes to Drive Engineered Heart Tissue Development and Function

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Chamber‐specific decellularized extracellular matrices (ECMs) were developed, preserving native proteomic profiles of ventricular and atrial myocardium. These innate biochemical cues differentially modulate cardiomyocyte subtypes to drive engineered heart tissue development and function, highlighting the importance of incorporating regional ECM cues in

Dynamics in spin glasses

Physical Review B, 1991
Below the freezing temperature ${\mathit{T}}_{\mathit{g}}$, the configuration space of spin glasses is characterized by the existence of quasidegenerate equilibrium states whose number increases drastically as the temperature is lowered. The observed time dependence of the dynamical properties (aging effects) can be understood as the trend of the ...

Dynamics of classical spins on a lattice: Spin diffusion

Physical Review B, 1992
The transport of magnetization and of spin-spin energy are calculated numerically for classical gyromagnets, coupled by truncated dipole-dipole and nearest-neighbor exchange interactions, on sc, bcc, and fcc cubic lattices. For the exchange case the results agree with previous theory, and also agree with experiments on $^{3}\mathrm{He}$ for diffusion ...

Spin dynamics in the spin - Peierls compound

Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 1997
The spin dynamics of the spin - Peierls compound has been studied by polarized and unpolarized inelastic neutron scattering techniques. The presence of a continuum of excitations and a pseudogap is discussed in the light of the dimensionality of the magnetic interactions and the current theories involving competing magnetic exchange interactions along

Spin dynamics of triangular spin tubes

Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 2013
We performed temperature (T) dependence experiments on the AC magnetic susceptibility of equilateral and non-equilateral triangular spin tubes CsCrF4 and α-KCrF4, respectively. In α-KCrF4, the linear (X0′) and the nonlinear (X2′) magnetic susceptibilities show sharp peaks at 4.0 K, which corresponds to an antiferromagnetic phase transition.

Temperature for a dynamic spin ensemble

Physical Review E, 2010
In molecular dynamics simulations, temperature is evaluated, via the equipartition principle, by computing the mean kinetic energy of atoms. There is no similar recipe yet for evaluating temperature of a dynamic system of interacting spins. By solving semiclassical Langevin spin-dynamics equations, and applying the fluctuation-dissipation theorem, we ...

Spin dynamics of ferromagnetic spin glass

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2004
The dynamics of ferromagnetic spin glass is studied taking into account the dynamically induced magnetic moment which is not small for disordered magnets. The well defined longitudinal and transverse spin waves have been found. The frustrations do not influence the spectrum of spin waves, however, the transverse spin waves become damped due to ...
