Photoelectrochemical CO2‐to‐Formic Acid Conversions: Advances in Photoelectrode Designs and Scale‐Up Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Schematic of a photoelectrochemical CO2‐to‐formic acid conversion. The outer circle highlights that the generated formic acid can be stored and later utilized as a fuel, while the emitted CO2 can be captured and recycled, ultimately contributing to a zero‐carbon emission cycle.

Upscaling Sodium‐Ion Battery Cells: From Aqueous Processing to Performance Assessment of Hard Carbon|Prussian White Pouch Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates the feasibility of scaling up Prussian White (PW)‐based cathode manufacturing at a pilot scale. Through careful PW dehydration combined with optimized aqueous processing, we report the stepwise development of industrially relevant 1 Ah pouch cells and evaluate their performance under various conditions.

Redox‐Active Oxide/molten Salt Composites for Hybrid Thermal‐Chemical Energy Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
Redox‐active oxide–molten salt composites integrate sensible, latent, and thermochemical energy storage within a single particle. A porous Ca2AlMnO5+δ matrix infiltrated with eutectic NaCl/CaCl2 achieves a high‐energy density (267 kJ kg−1) over a narrow, 150 °C temperature window, offering a promising solution for high‐temperature thermal energy ...
