Spin glass behavior and magnetic boson peak in a structural glass of a magnetic ionic liquid [PDF]
Glassy magnetic behavior has been observed in a wide range of crystalline magnetic materials called spin glass. Here, we report spin glass behavior in a structural glass of a magnetic ionic liquid, C4mimFeCl4.

A New Look at the Spin Glass Problem from a Deep Learning Perspective [PDF]
Spin glass is the simplest disordered system that preserves the full range of complex collective behavior of interacting frustrating elements. In the paper, we propose a novel approach for calculating the values of thermodynamic averages of the ...

Searching for spin glass ground states through deep reinforcement learning [PDF]
Spin glasses are disordered magnets with random interactions that are, generally, in conflict with each other. Finding the ground states of spin glasses is not only essential for understanding the nature of disordered magnets and many other physical ...

Single replica spin-glass phase detection using field variation and machine learning. [PDF]
The Sherrington-Kirkpatrick (SK) spin-glass model exhibits well-studied phase transitions that are mostly established using replica-based methods. Regardless of the method used for detection, the intrinsic phase of a system exists whether or not replicas

Evidence for a Griffiths Phase to Cluster Spin Glass Transition in the La2/3Sr1/3(Mn1‐3xAl2xTix)O3 System [PDF]
The presence of Griffiths phase to cluster spin glass transition has theoretically been predicted in both classical and quantum systems. However, its detection in a classical system has been lacking for decades, which hinders a complete understanding of ...

Delocalization transition in low energy excitation modes of vector spin glasses
We study the energy minima of the fully-connected $m$-components vector spin glass model at zero temperature in an external magnetic field for $m\ge 3$.

We study the quenched complexity in spin-glass mean-field models satisfying the Becchi-Rouet-Stora-Tyutin supersymmetry. The outcome of such study, consistent with recent numerical results, allows, in principle, to conjecture the absence of any supersymmetric contribution to the complexity in the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick model.

Generalized Spin-Glass Relaxation [PDF]
Spin relaxation close to the glass temperature of CuMn and AuFe spin glasses is shown, by neutron spin echo, to follow a generalised exponential function which explicitly introduces hierarchically constrained dynamics and macroscopic interactions. The interaction parameter is directly related to the normalised Tsallis non-extensive entropy parameter, q,

Experimental setup to fabricate Rb–Xe gas cells for atom spin gyroscopes
An experimental setup to fabricate atomic vapor cells for atom spin gyroscope application, containing 87Rb, 129Xe, 131Xe, N2, and H2, is described. The setup comprises a high-vacuum chamber, an 87Rb ampule, a glass cell, gas lines, and a turbopump. First,
