Correlated domains in spin glasses [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Mechanics: Theory and Experiment, 2012
We study the 3D Edwards-Anderson spin glasses, by analyzing spin-spin correlation functions in thermalized spin configurations at low T on large lattices. We consider individual disorder samples and analyze connected clusters of very correlated sites: we analyze how the volume and the surface of these clusters increases with the lattice size.

Spin-Glass and Chiral-Glass Transitions in a $\pm J$ Heisenberg Spin-Glass Model in Three Dimensions

open access: yes, 2001
The three-dimensional $\pm J$ Heisenberg spin-glass model is investigated by the non-equilibrium relaxation method from the paramagnetic state. Finite-size effects in the non-equilibrium relaxation are analyzed, and the relaxation functions of the spin ...

Exploring the critical behavior of the anomalous spin-glass transition in Ga1−xMnxS

open access: yesAIP Advances
Single-crystalline Ga1−xMnxS is a quasi-two-dimensional system that exhibits an anomalous spin-glass transition temperature compared with the other well-known spin-glass systems. In contrast to the other known spin-glasses that all have three-dimensional

Equilibrium and off-equilibrium simulations of chiral-glass order in three-dimensional Heisenberg spin glasses

open access: yes, 1998
Spin-glass and chiral-glass orderings in three-dimensional Heisenberg spin glasses are studied both by equilibrium and off-equilibrium Monte Carlo simulations. Fully isotropic model is found to exhibit a finite-temperature chiral-glass transition without

Evidence for two spin-glass transitions with magnetoelastic and magnetoelectric couplings in the multiferroic (Bi$_{1-x}$Ba$_x$)(Fe$_{1-x}$Ti$_x$)O$_3$ system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
For disordered Heisenberg systems with small single ion anisotropy, two spin glass transitions below the long range ordered phase transition temperature has been predicted theoretically for compositions close to the percolation threshold.

Chimeric diphtheria toxin–CCL8 cytotoxic peptide for breast cancer management

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
DTCCL8 is a recombinant fusion toxin that targets cancer cells expressing chemokine receptors. By combining diphtheria toxin with CCL8, DTCCL8 binds to multiple receptors on tumor cells and induces selective cytotoxicity. This strategy enables receptor‐mediated targeting of cancer and may support the development of chemokine‐guided therapeutics ...

Investigation of experimental signatures of spin glass transition temperature

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
We present a series of temperature and field-dependent magnetization studies of large single-crystal spin glass samples, focusing on both field-cooled (FC) and zero-field-cooled (ZFC) magnetization studies, as well as ac susceptibility measurements ...

Observation of spin glass behavior in chiral Mn48Fe34Si18 with a β-Mn related structure

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2019
The ternary silicide system Fe-Mn-Si exhibits several complex magnetic phases and the chemical similarity of Fe and Mn enables these two elements to be mutually substituted over a wide compositional range.

Zero-temperature responses of a 3D spin glass in a field

open access: yes, 2001
We probe the energy landscape of the 3D Edwards-Anderson spin glass in a magnetic field to test for a spin glass ordering. We find that the spin glass susceptibility is anomalously large on the lattice sizes we can reach.
