Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 1972Abstract Spin exchange can be seen in kidney plasma membrane fragments with spin labeled probes at concentrations of the labels in the membrane which do not inhibit the (Na + + K + )-ATPase. The second order rate constants for exchange are on the order of 10 7 M −1 sec −1 .
