Persistent caudal appendix in a child: A case report
Introduction: The caudal appendix, or true tail, is a vestige persisting in the sacrococcygeal region. It may or may not contain bony elements. It should be distinguished from the pseudo-caudal appendix, which is associated with spinal dysraphism.
