Long‐Term Stable Subdural Recordings Enabled by Fibrosis‐Resistant Hydrogel‐Integrated µECoG Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An adhesive hydrogel‐integrated micro‐electrocorticography (aGel‐µECoG) array is developed to ensure stable neural recordings by minimizing neuroinflammation and fibrosis during implantation. The hydrogel serves as a biological and mechanical bridge, enabling bioadhesive, reversible, anti‐fibrotic integration with brain tissue.

Spinal fracture in polytrauma situation

open access: yesIndian Spine Journal, 2018
The timing of surgical stabilization of a thoracolumbar spine fracture in a polytrauma situation is controversial. While delayed surgery was considered safe and the norm, over the last few years there is an increasing amount of literature available that ...

Acetylation Regulates ACSL4 Degradation Through Chaperone‐Mediated Autophagy to Alleviate Intervertebral Disc Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Intervertebral disc degeneration is triggered by ACSL4 accumulation‐mediated ferroptosis of nucleus pulposus cells due to CMA dysfunction. KAT2B promotes ACSL4 degradation via CMA through acetylation. AAV‐mediated LAMP2A delivery or engineered exosomes rescue nucleus pulposus cell senescence and disc degeneration.

Reinstating Niche Failure in Diabetic Cranial Defects via Chronotaxic Signal‐Amplifying Fluidic Biomimetic Hydrogel

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An in situ moldable GelSSO/PDA@SDF hydrogel functions as a chronotaxic signal‐amplifying biomimetic niche to restore regenerative failure in diabetic cranial defects. By sequentially releasing SDF‐1α‐loaded PDA nanoparticles and osteoinductive oligodeoxynucleotides, it orchestrates immunomodulation, progenitor recruitment, angiogenesis, and ...

Repurposing of Chemokine Antagonists for Combined Phase‐Resolved Spinal Cord Injury Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Spinal cord injury (SCI) in mammals is accompanied by a massive cytokine storm in cerebrospinal fluid, mainly driven by CXCL1, IL‐6, and CCL2‐5. Sub‐acute phase is mostly associated with IL‐2, IL‐7, CCL22, and CX3CL1, whereas TNFα and IL17α permanently persists in CNS even weeks following SCI.
