The formation of lumbar ligamentum flavum cyst (LLFC) represents one of the extremely rare etiologies of lumbar spinal stenosis. Owing to the rarity of such cases and the severe adhesion of LLFC to adjacent tissues, significant challenges are posed to surgical intervention.
