Biosynthesis of spin-labeled peptidoglycan: spin-spin interactions
Biochemistry, 1977Membrane preparations from Gaffkya homari catalyzed the in vitro biosynthesis of soluble uncross-linked spin-labeled peptidoglycan, a uniformly labeled polynitroxide, from the spin-labeled nucleotide UDP-MurNAc-Ala-DGlu-Lys(Nepsilon-2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-1-pyrrolin-1-oxyl-3-carbonyl)-DAla-DAla (I) and UDP-GlcNAc.

Abstract A few patients presenting with spinning will have an emergent neurologic disorder. In many, an acute nonviral labyrinthitis or drug toxicity can be diagnosed. A full-scale neurologic evaluation should proceed only after otologic emergencies have been ruled out.

Spin injection, spin transport and spin coherence
Semiconductor Science and Technology, 2002We discuss advances, advantages and problems of spintronics through the example of a semiconductor laser whose emission intensity and polarization are modulated by the spin orientation of electrons. We show that spin transport should be feasible at room temperature and present possible concepts and first results concerning spin injection at high ...

On the theory of spin-spin relaxation I
Physica, 1960Abstract The method for computing spin-spin relaxation times, developed in our first paper ∗) will be worked out in more detail for systems containing only one magnetic specimen. Numerical calculations are performed for two types of lattices, and the results are compared with the experimental value of τ for the ammonium cupric Tutton salt. Besides a

Spin-spin interaction in the spin-precession equations
Physical Review D, 2009One of the most active field of research in general relativity is the description of the spin properties of astrophysical objects. The main tool in the description of the gravitational waves emitted by compact binary systems in the inspiral era is the post-Newtonian (PN) approximation, where spin effects, namely, spin-orbit and spin-spin interactions ...

Spin Injection, Spin Transport and Spin Transfer
2004The efficient injection of charge carriers having a strong net spin polarization of controllable orientation into nonmagnetic electronic materials, particularly semiconductor device structures, along with the subsequent manipulation and detection of this injected spin polarization, is essential to the successful performance of a wide range of potential
