Significance of Correlation Between Spinopelvic Parameters in Patients of Chronic Low Back Pain [PDF]
Objective: To determine the significance of the correlation between spinopelvic parameters in patients with chronic low back pain. Materials and Methods: 129 patients with chronic low back pain of a minimum of 03 months duration ...

Modified pedicle‐guided fixation technique for iliosacral screw placement in prone position reduces operation time and radiation exposure as conventional two‐dimensional fluoroscopy was enough to identify safe insertion corridors. Prone position is also advantageous when dealing with obese patients and concomitant spinal injuries.

In our study, we found that the GAP score could effectively predict the risk of mechanical complications after long‐segment fixation surgery in geriatric ADS patients. ABSTRACT Objectives The predictive value of the global alignment and proportion (GAP) score in the Chinese geriatric population, which has unique demographic and degenerative ...

Predicting ideal spinopelvic balance in adult spinal deformity
Object Spinopelvic balance is based on the theory that adjacent segments of the spine are related and influenced by one another. By understanding the correlation between the thoracolumbar spine and the pelvis, a concept of spinopelvic balance can be ...

Patient‐specific 3D‐printed guiding templates significantly improve surgical precision and efficiency in complex sacral tumor resection and reconstruction compared to conventional freehand techniques. This computer‐assisted workflow reduces operative time, intraoperative blood loss, and fluoroscopy frequency, providing a safer, highly reproducible ...

Systematic Review of Paraspinal Muscle Changes in Lumbar Spondylolisthesis: MRI and CT Insights
Paraspinal muscle degeneration, especially multifidus atrophy and fat infiltration (FI), contributes to spinal instability and spondylolisthesis progression. Reduced multifidus area and increased FI correlate with instability, while compensatory erector spinae hypertrophy is often observed, particularly in isthmic cases, highlighting the need for ...

The effect of lumbar facet joint injection levels on spinopelvic parameters and functional outcome
BACKGROUND: Low back pain is a very common musculoskeletal complaint that impacts patients' quality of life in numerous ways. Facet joint injection is a widely used spinal intervention to relieve back pain. Effects of facet joint injection on spinopelvic

In this study, we performed two approaches of MIS‐TLIF and percutaneous pedicle screw fixation to offer safe and effective treatment of high‐grade spondylolisthesis with satisfactory clinical and radiological outcomes. ABSTRACT Objective High‐grade isthmic spondylolisthesis remains surgically controversial, and evidence on minimally invasive, single ...
