The importance of spinopelvic parameters in patients with lumbar disc lesions [PDF]
Using a special software program we measured spinopelvic parameters on digitised radiographs of the entire spine and the pelvis of 50 patients with lumbar disc herniation and compared these with the same measurements on 30 healthy subjects. In the disc hernia group the patients had a relatively straight spine in the sagittal plane.

Correlation between the Tuffier's Line and the Spinopelvic Parameters
Tuffier’s line (TL) is a horizontal line that connects the two superior iliac crests and is used to determine L4 and L5 vertebrae levels. Spinopelvic parameters have been gaining further importance in the diagnosis and treatment planning of spinal diseases. This study aims to reveal whether there is an interaction between TL and spinopelvic parameters.

Coronal and sagittal spinal alignment in lumbar disc herniation with scoliosis and trunk shift
Background To investigate the incidence of scoliosis and trunk shift in patients with LDH (lumbar disc herniation) and analyze the differences in spinopelvic alignment among patients with or without trunk shift and non-symptom controls.
