Directional Bias in Molecular Photogearing Evidenced by LED‐Coupled Chiral Cryo‐HPLC
Significant directionality bias for the coupled rotations of a light‐powered molecular photogear is evidenced by analysis of its enantiomeric states. Using a custom designed LED‐coupled chiral cryo‐HPLC setup, the sense of directionality of coupled double‐ and single bond rotations during photogearing could be elucidated directly.
