DPhot photometry method for the Spitzer Space Telescope

SPIE Proceedings, 2006
DPhot is a "deep photometry" computer program for measuring faint point sources from an overlapping set of astronomical images without making a mosaic. A grid of points is written on the sky. The point response function is used to calculate influence coefficients between the grid points and the pixels.

On-Orbit Experience with the Spitzer Space Telescope Optical System

Frontiers in Optics, 2005
The Spitzer Space Telescope operates at wavelengths between 3.6 and 160 microns. This paper describes the on-orbit performance of the beryllium optical system which was launched warm and radiatively cooled to cryogenic temperatures.
