Crater Observing Bioinspired Rolling Articulator (COBRA)
Crater Observing Bio‐inspired Rolling Articulator (COBRA) is a modular, snake‐inspired robot that addresses the mobility challenges of extraterrestrial exploration sites such as Shackleton Crater. Incorporating snake‐like gaits and tumbling locomotion, COBRA navigates both uneven surfaces and steep crater walls.

Air cushioning with a lubrication/ inviscid balance [PDF]
The air cushioning effect in the gap between an almost inviscid body of water and a nearby solid wall (or another body of water) is studied theoretically and is found to depend on predominantly lubricating forces in the air, in certain applications.

Mucin Glycoprotein Nanoparticles Enable a Selective Antisense Therapy for Oncogenic MicroRNAs
Mucin glycoproteins are turned into nanoparticles by employing synthetic DNA strands, which have a dual function: they stabilize the nanoparticles and act as binding sites for intracellular miRNA‐21. Thus, upon internalization into tumor cells, these mucin nanoparticles can deplete miRNA‐21 from the cytosol, which induces apoptosis in vitro and in vivo.

ABSTRACT With the increasing global energy demand and the growing prominence of environmental issues, biodiesel has garnered significant attention as a renewable, low‐emission green energy source. Conventional hydrotalcite‐based catalysts often suffer from insufficient basicity and limited accessibility of active sites, leading to relatively long ...

Splash singularities for the one-phase Muskat problem in stable regimes
This paper shows finite time singularity formation for the Muskat problem in a stable regime. The framework we found is with a dry region, where the density and the viscosity are set equal to $0$ (the gradient of the pressure is equal to $(0,0)$) in the ...

ABSTRACT Water pollution by oil and organic substances causes serious problems that threaten the ecosystem. Superhydrophobic materials represent an effective solution for removing oil from water. The present paper investigates the development of a low‐cost, superhydrophobic composite for oil–water separation.

Gear wear process monitoring using a sideband estimator based on modulation signal bispectrum [PDF]
As one of the most common gear failure modes, tooth wear can produce nonlinear modulation sidebands in the vibration frequency spectrum. However, limited research has been reported in monitoring the gear wear based on vibration due to the lack of tools ...

Oxide Interface of Gallium‐Based Liquid Metals: Beneficial Bridge or Hidden Risk?
Discussion on oxide interfaces in gallium‐based liquid metals have concentrated on their properties, behaviors, and related applications. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying effects, as well as the differences between the presence and absence of the oxide layer, have been less thoroughly discussed.
