Validation of Cardiorespiratory‐Gated Proton Beam Delivery for Stereotactic Arrhythmia Radioablation

Stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation (STAR) with scanned proton beams was performed in a porcine model targeting the left ventricular free wall (A). Dual gating synchronized proton delivery with both respiratory and cardiac motion was compared to single gating using only respiratory motion (B).
