Cancer Cell‐Intrinsic Cholesterol Induces Lipid‐Associated Macrophage Differentiation via SP1 Palmitoylation to Promote Prostate Cancer Progression
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Cancer cell‐intrinsic cholesterol promotes the S‐palmitoylation of SP1, increasing its nuclear translocation and driving the transcription and secretion of MDK, which in turn facilitates the differentiation of macrophages into a lipid‐associated phenotype.Shirong Peng, Weilong Lin, Zean Li, Ruilin Zhuang, Shengmeng Peng, Bingheng Li, Bingliang Chen, Yong Luo, Yuan Ou, Wei Zhuang, Tao Du, Kaiwen Li, Hai Huang +12 morewiley +1 more sourceEngineered Mesenchymal Stem Cell–NK Cell Complexes for Spatially Targeted and Functionally Revitalized Cancer Immunotherapy
Advanced Science, EarlyView.IL‐15‐engineered stem cell–NK cell complexes, assembled via bioorthogonal chemistry, enable effective lung cancer immunotherapy. Abstract
Natural killer (NK) cells represent a powerful immunotherapeutic strategy due to their intrinsic cytotoxicity and ability to target tumor cells independently of antigen presentation.Qian Zhang, Bo Yin, Munaiwaier Sabier, Youlan Yang, Mengling Wu, Zhouping Zhao, Xuanzhi Luo, Yuehong Zhong, Xiuming Zhu, Jie Zhang, Jing Wang, Kai Chen, Fei Ruan, Wei Zhang, Zhimin Lu, Jiong Wang +15 morewiley +1 more sourceCinnamic‐Hydroxamic‐Acid Derivatives Exhibit Antibiotic, Anti‐Biofilm, and Supercoiling Relaxation Properties by Targeting Bacterial Nucleoid‐Associated Protein HU
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Cinnamic‐hydroxamic‐acid derivatives (CHADs) are identified as novel inhibitors of the bacterial nucleoid‐associated protein HU, exhibiting potent antibacterial, anti‐biofilm (both inhibition and eradication), and DNA relaxation (anti‐supercoiling) activities. Moreover, CHADs demonstrate strong synergistic effects with multiple antibiotics.Huan Chen, Yingqi Xu, Zhaoping Xiong, Hongliang Wang, Xin Wang, Yue Kang, Zhonglin Wang, Xiaoyan Zeng, Yahui Liu, Yehuan Zheng, Wei Chen, Mengzhe Li, Zhenyue Hu, Chi Xu, Yue Wu, Yawen Wang, Zuyi Yuan, Shuai Yuan, Huadong Liu, Steve Matthews, Nan Qiao, Yan Li, Bing Liu +22 morewiley +1 more sourceA descriptive review of cardiac tumours in dogs and cats [PDF]

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Polycarbonate nanogels enable lipid‐free delivery of anti‐MFAP‐5 siRNA into cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAF) in hepatocellular carcinoma. In a cirrhotic murine model, this approach silences MFAP‐5, reduces fibroblast activation, and suppresses tumor growth by inhibiting NOTCH/Hes1‐driven angiogenesis.
