stMixer for Scalable Mosaic Integration and Label Transfer in Spatial Histology and Multi‐Omics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
stMixer is an unsupervised framework for scalable integration and label transfer across spatial histology and multi‐slide multi‐omics data with incomplete modality overlap. It combines self‐looped cross‐attention, multimodal metric learning, and graph‐guided cluster voting to align heterogeneous sections, correct batch effects, and propagate ...

Mechanical Activation of Piezo1 Drives Osteoarthritis Through Kdm5c‐Mediated Epigenetic Silencing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Excessive mechanical stress activates Piezo1, triggering Ca2+‐dependent cytoskeletal forces that deform the nucleus and reduce H3K4me3. Kdm5c demethylates H3K4me3 at Col2a1 and Runx3 promoters. Kdm5c knockout rescues degradation. Repurposed telmisartan directly inhibits Kdm5c, blocking this axis and showing disease‐modifying efficacy in mouse OA models

An exciting Approach to Theoretical Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Theoretical spectroscopy, and more generally, electronic‐structure theory, are powerful concepts for describing the complex many‐body interactions in materials. They cover methods from ground‐state properties to lattice excitations and light‐matter interaction, including time‐resolved variants.

Canary tomato export prices: comparison and relationships between daily seasonal patterns

open access: yesSpanish Journal of Agricultural Research, 2013
Statistical procedures are proposed to describe, compare and forecast the behaviour of seasonal variations in two daily price series of Canary tomato exported to German and British markets, respectively, over the last decade.

Physics‐Informed Neural Network‐Enabled Forward Prediction and Inverse Design of Ring Origami

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a KRT‐PINN framework that integrates Kirchhoff rod theory with physics‐informed neural networks for the forward prediction and inverse design of ring origami consisting of closed‐loop rods. The framework predicts stable states of segmented rings with prescribed natural‐curvature profiles and determines the natural‐curvature profiles ...

Thin-Plate Splines Generalized Interpolation Based on Duchon’s Semi-Norm Minimization Extended to CAD-Compliant Surface Mesh Deformation

open access: yesAerospace
The Thin-Plate Splines (TPS) technique, using Kybic et al.’s generalized interpolation approach, is extended to differentiable manifolds. The initial application to surface mesh deformation resulting from parameterized Computer Aided Design (CAD) used in

Wearable‐Derived Diurnal Alignment Between Physical Activity and Device Temperature Predicts Future Disease and Mortality Risk

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Wearable‐derived diurnal alignment between physical activity and device temperature, decomposed into 24 h coupling strength (M24), phase deviation (D24), and 12 h harmonic magnitude (M12), is examined in approximately 90,000 UK Biobank participants.

Parametric Surfaces for Elliptic and Hyperbolic Geometries

open access: yesMathematics
Background/Objectives: In computer graphics, virtual worlds are constructed and visualized through algorithmic processes. These environments are typically populated with objects defined by mathematical models, traditionally based on Euclidean geometry ...
