Microwave Oscillator Design for a SRR Based Biosensor Platform
Proceedings, 2018 A sensor for biomedical markers based on a split ring microwave resonator (SRR) was developed. The surface of the microwave resonator is covered with receptors that specifically bind to the target proteins where the local permittivity is changed.

Arthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.We report the national burden of dermatopolymyositis mortality over the past quarter century using the US national vital statistics data. Age‐standardized mortality rates for dermatopolymyositis decreased at an annual rate of 3.8% each year, which was higher than the annual percent decrease for deaths from all other causes.

Arthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.Objective Maturational signal in the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) of skeletally immature youth is often misinterpreted as inflammation. Diagnostic tools that improve specificity are greatly needed. Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values from diffusion‐weighted imaging (DWI), when used with standard imaging, may enhance diagnostic accuracy.
