Dynamic Regulation of Endogenous Transcription Factor Hubs at Single‐Molecule Resolution
This study combines single‐molecule microscopy and genome editing to characterize the dynamic behaviors of endogenous oncofusion transcription factor EWS::FLI1 in Ewing sarcoma cells. EWS::FLI1 forms neomorphic hubs that dynamically assemble and dissolve. The hubs are regulated during mitosis, by RNA, and by specific chemicals.

A recurrent dilemma in team management is to select between a team-based and an individual based wage scheme. We explore such a dilemma in a simple model of production in teams, in which the team members may differ in their effort choices and ...

This review critically examines thermal transport and radiative properties of ultra‐high temperature ceramics for hypersonic flight, advanced nuclear systems, and next‐generation energy conversion devices. It explores phonon–photon–electron interactions, microstructural engineering, thermoelectric conversion, and machine learning‐accelerated multiscale

Interpretable machine learning reveals how composition and processing govern the formation and microstructural burden of Fe‐rich intermetallic compounds in recycled Al–Si–Fe–Mn alloys. By separating morphology selection from morphology‐conditioned burden partitioning, this framework shows that identical Fe contents can yield different intermetallic ...

A physics‐informed property‐bridging framework links high‐throughput hardness screening to tensile performance in quenching and partitioning steels. By transferring metallurgically guided representations across properties, a single alloy composition is designed to achieve multiple strength grades through heat‐treatment tuning alone, offering a ...

Essays in Empirical Population Economics [PDF]
The thesis contains three independent papers. The first examines why women in Ireland had high mortality rates relative to men at the end of the 19th century. The second searches for the determinants of German east-west migration of labour force.

RNA structural profiling of Turnip Yellow Mosaic Virus by DMS‐MaPseq and DREEM analyses uncover that viral genome‐wide RSS is highly complicated and heterogeneous, with alternative RSSs widely distributed across the genome. Notably, the viral 3’ tRNA‐like structure adopts alternative conformations in vivo.

Econometric modelling of the relationship between money, income and interest rates in the U.K. : 1963-1978 [PDF]
This thesis investigates empirically the relationship between money, income and interest rates in the U.K. over the period 1963 to 1978. After developing univariate models of the time series' proxying these theoretical variables, the paradox existing

Enhanced Stability in Zero‐Excess Li‐Metal Batteries via Prelithiated Carbon Nanofiber Interlayers
Carbon nanofibers carbonized at 700°C show Li metal deposition predominantly on the side facing the Cu current collector. During delithiation, Li agglomerates remain as inactive lithium on the fiber surface. This behavior can be changed by a modified n‐Buli prelithiation without a washing step, suppressing dead Li formation and therefore enabling ...
