Packing chromatic number of certain fan and wheel related graphs

open access: yesAKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics, 2017
The packing chromatic number of a graph is the smallest integer for which there exists a mapping such that any two vertices of color are at distance at least .

A Connectedness Constraint for Learning Sparse Graphs

open access: yes, 2017
Graphs are naturally sparse objects that are used to study many problems involving networks, for example, distributed learning and graph signal processing.

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Large Graph Sampling Algorithm for Frequent Subgraph Mining

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Large graph networks frequently appear in the latest applications. Their graph structures are very large, and the interaction among the vertices makes it difficult to split the structures into separate multiple structures, thus increasing the difficulty ...

Practical and Efficient Split Decomposition via Graph-Labelled Trees [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Split decomposition of graphs was introduced by Cunningham (under the name join decomposition) as a generalization of the modular decomposition. This paper undertakes an investigation into the algorithmic properties of split decomposition.

Split non-threshold Laplacian integral graphs [PDF]

open access: yesLinear and Multilinear Algebra, 2010
The aim of this article is to answer a question posed by Merris in European Journal of Combinatorics, 24 (2003) pp. 413 − 430, about the possibility of finding split non-threshold graphs that are Laplacian integral, i.e. graphs for which the eigenvalues of the corresponding Laplacian matrix are integers.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein

Gut microbiota diversity is prognostic in metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this exploratory study, we investigated the relationship between the gut microbiota and outcome in patients with metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer, treated in a randomized clinical trial with chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy in combination with immune checkpoint blockade.
