ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Effect of plate length on drag reduction of square faced bluff body [PDF]
This study investigates the impact of splitter plates on drag reduction in square-faced bodies using a water flow channel with three different splitter plate lengths: 2.5 cm, 1.8 cm, and 1.25 cm.

CFD investigation of flow through a centrifugal compressor diffuser with splitter blades
The aerodynamic losses in centrifugal compressors are mainly associated with the separated flow on the suction sides of impeller and diffuser vanes. The overall performance of such compressors can be improved by adding splitter vanes.

New Optical Splitter Design for Network Scalability and Flexibility [PDF]
In this paper, we present the design of two optical splitter which are 2x3 optical splitter-combine and Multi Ratio Optical Splitter (MROS) based on waveguide with SU-8 polymer material.

Weak measurement [1,19] combined with quantum delayed-choice experiment that use quantum beam splitter instead of the beam splitter give rise to a surprising amplification effect, i.e., counterintuitive negative amplification effect.

Full field phase imaging using a harmonically matched diffraction grating pair based homodyne quadrature interferometer [PDF]
In this letter, the authors present a novel quadrature interferometry method based on the use of a harmonically matched shallow grating pair. Unlike a simple beam splitter or single shallow grating, the grating pair can confer a nontrivial interference ...

Anti-coalescence of bosons on a lossy beam splitter [PDF]
To bunch or to antibunch Particles of matter can be classed as either as bosons or fermions. Their subsequent behavior in terms of their physical properties and interactions depends on which quantum statistics they obey. Photons, for instance, are bosons

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.
