On two variants of split graphs: 2-unipolar graph and k-probe-split graph

open access: yesRAIRO - Operations Research
A graph is called split if its vertex set can be partitioned into a stable set and a clique. In this article, we studied two variants of split graphs. A graph G is polar if its vertex set can be partitioned into two sets A and B such that G[A] is a complete multipartite graph and G[B] is a disjoint union of complete graphs.

Universal Gripper for Industrial Manipulation With Enhanced Rigid Mechanics and Self‐Adaptable Fingers

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
An enhanced universal gripper combining rigid mechanics with self‐adaptable fingers is presented for industrial automation. The novel six‐bar linkage with integrated compliant pad eliminates mechanical interference while enabling passive shape adaptation.

Reconstruction of overlapping electromagnetic showers in calorimeters using Transformers

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
Accurate clustering of electromagnetic energy deposits is essential for reconstructing photons and electrons in modern hadron collider experiments, where boosted topologies and pileup often cause overlapping showers and ambiguous energy assignment.

Worst-case deterministic fully-dynamic biconnectivity in changeable planar embeddings

open access: yesJournal of Computational Geometry
We study dynamic planar graphs with $n$ vertices, subject to edge deletion, edge contraction, edge insertion across a face, and the splitting of a vertex in specified corners.

Data‐Driven Bulldozer Blade Control for Autonomous Terrain Leveling

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A simulation‐driven framework for autonomous bulldozer leveling is presented, combining high‐fidelity terramechanics simulation with a neural‐network‐based reduced‐order model. Gradient‐based optimization enables efficient, low‐level blade control that balances leveling quality and operation time.

MicroRoboScope: A Portable and Integrated Mechatronic Platform for Magnetic and Acoustic Microrobotic Experimentation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents the MicroRoboScope, a highly integrated, compact, and portable microrobotic experimentation platform combining electromagnetic and acoustic actuation with real‐time visual feedback into a single, end‐to‐end device. The system enables closed‐loop control and tracking algorithm experimentation within an accessible and unified hardware ...

The Splitting Number and Skewness of . . .

open access: yes, 2007
The skewness of a graph G is the minimum number of edges that need to be deleted from G to produce a planar graph. The splitting number of a graph G is the minimum number of splitting steps needed to turn G into a planar graph; where each step ...

Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard): An Aerial Robotic Swarm for Autonomous Detection and Entrapment of Rogue Multirotors

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard) is introduced as a four‐drone swarm that autonomously detects, tracks, and safely captures rogue drones using a coordinated net system. Computer vision and leader–follower control architecture enable synchronized enclosure, while integrated failsafes enhance system reliability. Validated through closed‐environment

Many-body expansion based machine learning models for octahedral transition metal complexes

open access: yesMachine Learning: Science and Technology
Graph-based machine learning (ML) models for material properties show great potential to accelerate virtual high-throughput screening of large chemical spaces. However, in their simplest forms, graph-based models do not include any 3D information and are

Real‐Time Holographic Feedback via Mixed Reality Sensorized Laryngoscope Training System Enhances Pediatric Intubation Training

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
We proposed a Mixed Reality Sensorized Laryngoscope Training System to provide real‐time holographic torque feedback during pediatric endotracheal intubation simulation. Visualization formats are evaluated to reduce tracking error and visual demand.
