The emission of prompt neutrons from the spontaneous fission of [PDF]
The neutron detector with 3He -filled counters placed in the focal plane of the VASSILISSA separator is used for measuring the average number and determining the multiplicity distribution of prompt neutrons from the spontaneous fission of heavy short ...

TDP‐43 Aggregation: The Healthy‐Toxic Balance of the Prion‐Like Domain
TDP‐43 function relies on a delicate balance between reversible phase‐separated states and irreversible aggregation. Under physiological conditions, TDP‐43 forms dynamic droplets and oligomers that support normal cellular functions. In pathological contexts, this balance shifts toward aberrant aggregation, leading to toxic species.

Biomodal spontaneous fission [PDF]
Investigations of mass and kinetic-energy distributions from spontaneous fission have been extended in recent years to an isotope of element 104 and, for half-lives, to an isotope of element 108.

Measurement Of The Spontaneous-fission Disintegration Constant Of 238u [PDF]
Large-area muscovite mica foils, previously treated thermally, prepared and chemically pre-etched in HF, were exposed in juxtaposition to uranium cylinders (U3O8 density 7.16 g cm-3; 3.3 cm in diameter and 4.0 cm in height), for 0.525 yr.

STATE DEPENDENT δ-PAIRING AND SPONTANEOUS FISSION [PDF]
We examine the fission barriers, mass parameters and spontaneous fission half lives of Fermium isotopes within the framework of the macroscopic-microscopic model with a δ-pairing interaction. Four different macroscopic models are applied and studied.
