Spontaneous thymic cyst hemorrhage causing hemothorax
The Japanese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, 2003The case describes a 56-year-old man who had thymic cyst hemorrhage, followed by right hemothorax. There was a high possibility that his accompanying disease, an alteration in hemostasis due to alcoholic liver cirrhosis and hypertension, would induce thymic cyst hemorrhage.
