Percutaneous Tracheostomy Via Grigg's Technique in Children: Does Age and Size Matter?

In this study, it was compared the outcomes of percutaneous tracheostomy (PT) of infants and older children. The results showed that PT is a safe and feasible procedure even in infants. It also decreases the accidental early decannulation risk. Tracheostomy stricture is a more common problem in PT, especially in infants.
