Optimal timing for induction of labor in normotensive women: A retrospective cohort study
Abstract Objective Labor induction is offered to reduce the risk of stillbirth at late term (41+0 to 41+6) but earlier induction in normotensive singleton pregnancies is supported by weak evidence. The aim of the present study was to investigate the optimal timing for induction in normotensive women.

Abstract Objective In term pregnancies with suspected fetal growth restriction (FGR) undergoing induction of labor (IOL), predictors for intrapartum cesarean delivery (CD) remain unclear. We aimed to determine predictors for intrapartum CD in this population. Methods This study included a retrospective cohort of singleton pregnancies undergoing IOL at ≥

Predicting preeclampsia from a history of preterm birth.
ObjectiveTo assess whether women with a history of preterm birth, independent on the presence of prelabour rupture of the membranes (PROM) and growth deviation of the newborn, are more likely to develop preeclampsia with preterm or preterm birth in a ...

Spontaneous preterm birth: prevention, management and outcome
Preterm birth (birth before 37 completed weeks of pregnancy) is a major cause of perinatal morbidity and mortality. Strategies to prevent and adequately treat preterm labour, in order to postpone birth and to identify risk factors for neonatal damage due to preterm birth, have to be developed by obstetricians and neonatologists to improve perinatal ...

Knowledge Mapping for Prediction of Spontaneous Preterm Birth
Abstract Background Preterm birth (PTB) before 37 weeks gestation, especially spontaneous premature birth (sPTB), poses significant global health challenges, with rising rates linked to advanced and multiple pregnancies. Despite efforts to understand sPTB and biomarkers like cervical length and fetal fibronectin, accurate prediction is still ...
