SPONTANEOUS REMISSIONS IN SCHIZOPHRENIA

Spontaneous remission of MAOI-induced anorgasmia
American Journal of Psychiatry, 1987The authors present three case reports illustrating that a conservative approach to anorgasmia induced by effective treatment with the monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) phenelzine can result in spontaneous remission. Precipitously stopping phenelzine or adding another medication to counteract the side effect can be avoided.
