Tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) is a potentially deadly complication of tumors or their treatment. This syndrome consists of a constellation of laboratory parameters such as hyperuricemia, hyperkalemia, hyperphosphatemia, and hypocalcemia and clinical complications such as seizures, acute renal insult, cardiac dysrhythmias and death.
