Correlation Between Spray Characteristics and Etching Characteristics in Twin Spray
Transactions of the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers B, 2004The objective of this study is to obtain the correlation between the spray characteristics and the etching characteristics for the optimization of etching system in the micro fabrication industry. The etching characteristics such as etching rate were measured under different conditions. The single spray characteristics such as droplet size and velocity

External Characteristics of Unsteady Spray Atomization from a Nasal Spray Device
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 2013The nasal route presents an enormous opportunity to exploit the highly vascularized respiratory airway for systemic drug delivery to provide more rapid onset of therapy and reduced drug degradation compared with conventional oral routes. The dynamics of atomization at low injection pressure is less known as typical spray atomization studies have ...

Investigation on Methanol Spray Characteristics
Energy & Fuels, 2007The effects of opening pressure, ambient density, and nozzle diameter on penetration length and cone angle of methanol sprays were investigated. The methanol sprays schlieren photographs were recorded by a high-speed charge coupled device (CCD) camera. The methanol spray characteristics were analyzed.

Characteristics of intermittent fuel sprays
Combustion and Flame, 1992Abstract The spray-tip penetrations and the drop sizes of intermittent fuel sprays were measured by using a modified pulsed optical spray sizer. The average spray tip speeds were determined from simultaneously recorded needle lift signals and obscuration traces. The speeds of a sequence of fuel pulses injected at ∼ 10 3 Hz were analyzed to elucidate

On the intermittent spray characteristics
KSME International Journal, 1998The quality of spray atomization ejected from an injector has a definitive influence upon the engine’s performance. Furthermore, considerable attention to the Earth’s environmental pollution is increasing now more than ever before. This experimental investigation has been carried out to clarify the characteristics of the intermittent spray using a ...

Spray Characteristics of Rotary Atomizers
1983Evaluations of the spray characteristics of a new atomizer (Micromax) indicate that rotary atomizers used on tractor-mounted sprayers have the potential to apply agricultural pesticides effectively. Operating the units at the spacing, height, and tilt angle that provides double to triple overlap of the spray output results in acceptable distribution ...

Antibacterial characteristics of thermal plasma spray system
Journal of X-Ray Science and Technology: Clinical Applications of Diagnosis and Therapeutics, 2018The objective of this study is to investigate antibacterial characteristics of a thermal plasma spray system. For this purpose, copper powder was coated on a handmade atmospheric plasma spraying system made by the stainless steel 316 substrate, which is preheated at different temperatures before spraying. A number of deposition characteristics such as

Effect of spray characteristics on spray cooling with liquid nitrogen
Journal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer, 1994Operation of power electronics at liquid nitrogen (LN2) temperature is a very attractive possibility. However, a high heat flux (over 100 W/cm) cooling technique like spray cooling will have to be used to realize all the advantages of low-temperature operation. This study provides empirical correlations for LN2 spray cooling.
