Comparison of the Characteristics of Sprays between Water and Nanofluid Sprays
Abstract Nanofluids is that metallic or nonmetallic nanometer-sized particles are dispersed in liquid and they can be used in variousfields to increase the heat transfer rate. This study conducted experiments to evaluate whether the cooling efficiency of nanof-luids is better than that of water in spray cooling.

Analysis of Spray Flow Pattern and Spray Combustion Characteristics.
The analysis of spray flow was very important for the spray combus-tion simulation. In this study, the models for the spray pattern and the motion of spray dro-plets in the gas flow were investigated to improve the simulation accuracy. The spray pat-tern was expressed by the random sampling of spray angles from a normal probability de-nsity ...

Momentum exchange process under non-evaporating spray of hole nozzle in direct injection SI engines
Direct fuel injection spray is used to improve thermal efficiency and environmental performance in SI engines. A mixture is formed through momentum exchange between fuel droplets and ambient gas, along with mixing accompanied by droplets evaporation and ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Experimental Investigation of Spray Characteristics in Subsonic Crossflows [PDF]
The breakup of a liquid jet, in a crossflow leading to the evolution of the spray plume downstream is an important aspect that needs to be well understood for improving combustion efficiency and reduction of emissions for airbreathing propulsion engines.
