Spray controller for horizontal boom movements compensation [PDF]
peer reviewedLongitudinal spray distribution is mainly affected by the horizontal speed variations of the nozzles. Manufacturers classically try to reduce unwanted nozzles movements using horizontal boom suspension but these methods show performance and

Additive and Partially Dominant Effects from Genomic Variation Contribute to Rice Heterosis
Additive and partially dominant effects, namely at mid‐parent levels or values between mid‐parent and parental levels, respectively, are the predominant inheritance patterns of heterosis‐associated molecules. These two genetic effects contribute to heterosis of agronomic traits in both rice and maize, as well as biomass heterosis in Arabidopsis ...

Scalable Upcycling of Spent Lithium‐Ion Battery Anodic Graphite to Electronic‐Grade Graphene
Graphite anodes from spent lithium‐ion batteries are upcycled into electronic‐grade graphene nanoplatelets for highly conductive screen printing inks (> 104 S m−1). Screen‐printed micro‐supercapacitors confirm the utility of the upcycled graphene (1.78 mF/cm2 capacitance for > 10 000 cycles). Life cycle assessment and techno‐economic analysis highlight

A fully edible wheat bran–algae substrate is fabricated through scalable mould‐compression and spray‐coating, enabling robust, food‐grade platforms for sustainable electronics. A chitosan barrier improves water resistance and ink compatibility, while activated‐carbon conductive films form uniform electrodes with Ohmic behaviour.

Considerable improvement in the performance of fully‐hydrocarbon‐based fuel cells is necessary to replace and compete with Per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances‐containing fuel cells. Herein, a way to enhance the ionic conductivity of the catalyst layer (CL) by incorporating insoluble ionomer particles into the CL is presented.

effect of using acidic water composition on removal efficiency of air ammonia in a spray tower
Introduction: One of the major factors that affect the employees' health and productivity in industries is the air quality of work environments. One of these pollutants is ammonia gas, which is very important from an economic and environmental points of ...

Abstract Generating hydrogel beads pertains to many engineering applications. We examined two alginate‐based fluids at three concentrations of alginate, cAG$$ {c}_{\mathrm{AG}} $$. We used the “Map of Misery” to determine which material property (viscosity, elasticity, and inertia) drives droplet formation.

Effect of airstream velocity on mean drop diameters of water sprays produced by pressure and air atomizing nozzles [PDF]
A scanning radiometer was used to determine the effect of airstream velocity on the mean drop diameter of water sprays produced by pressure atomizing and air atomizing fuel nozzles used in previous combustion studies.
