Exploring the Impedance Spectroscopy in Hole‐Conductor‐Free Mesoscopic Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, EarlyView.
This study employs impedance spectroscopy (IS) to investigate the carrier dynamics of printable perovskite solar cells (p‐MPSCs). The exceptional stability of p‐MPSCs enables reliable IS measurements under various conditions. We develop an equivalent circuit model to analyze the IS data, linking each circuit element to specific dynamic processes.

In Situ Surface Reconstruction and Carbon Encapsulation for High‐Performance Pt‐Lean Catalysts beyond Conventional Core–Shell Designs

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A one‐step in situ fabrication produces Pt‐segregated nanoparticles encapsulated in porous carbon shells. This design drastically reduces Pt content while maintaining high oxygen reduction reaction activity and long‐term durability. The catalyst meets DOE targets even at ultralow Pt loading, presenting a practical pathway toward cost‐effective, high ...

Electronic Modulation of Cobalt Single‐Atom Catalysts via In‐Plane and Axial Coordination Engineering for Enhanced H2O2 Electrosynthesis

open access: yesSusMat, EarlyView.
Symmetry‐breaking in‐plane and axial coordination modulates the electronic structure of cobalt single‐atom catalysts for selective two‐electron oxygen reduction (2e− ORR). In‐plane O coordination (Co–N2O2) strengthens *OOH binding and suppresses activity, whereas axially coordinated Co–N5 enriches the Co center and optimizes the dz2 orbital, weakening ...
