Char Layer Thickness Evolution During Structural Timber Fire Experiment and Final Density Profile
ABSTRACT This paper evaluates several non‐destructive experimental methods for determining the char layer thickness and its density profile in structural timber samples exposed to standard ISO 834 fire curve experiments. Microwave echo pulse, ultrasonic echo pulse, X‐ray computed tomography, and resistance drilling were evaluated.

A Scoping Review and Bibliometric Analysis on Smart Firefighting in Buildings and Infrastructures
ABSTRACT Smart Firefighting is a concept that has emerged within the fire engineering and fire science disciplines in recent years. It can enable informed decision making and improved fire safety. However, its scope, definition, outcomes, and value to emergency management remain unclear. To investigate this, a scoping review and a bibliometric analysis

This study investigates alternative hole transport materials (HTMs) for n‐i‐p perovskite solar cells, comparing Spiro‐OMeTAD, PTAA, P3HT, and H101. PTAA‐based devices achieve the highest efficiency (21.01%) by suppressing non‐radiative recombination at the perovskite/HTM interface, despite slower charge transfer.
