Numerical investigations of the impact of buffer germanium composition and low cost fabrication of Cu2O on AZO/ZnGeO/Cu2O solar cell performances

open access: yesEPJ Photovoltaics, 2021
Numerical simulations of AZO/Zn1−xGexO/Cu2O solar cell are performed in order to model for the first time the impact of the germanium composition of the ZnGeO buffer layer on the photovoltaic conversion efficiency.

Double-Nozzle Flame Spray Pyrolysis as a Potent Technology to Engineer Noble Metal-TiO2 Nanophotocatalysts for Efficient H2 Production

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
Noble metal-TiO2 nanohybrids, NM0-TiO2, (NM0 = Pt0, Pd0, Au0, Ag0) have been engineered by One-Nozzle Flame Spray Pyrolysis (ON-FSP) and Double-Nozzle Flame Spray Pyrolysis (DN-FSP), by controlling the method of noble metal deposition to the TiO2 matrix.

Influence of diesel surrogates on the behavior of simplified spray models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Numerous experimental investigations make use of diesel surrogates to make the computational time reasonable. In the few studies where measured (surrogate and real diesel) and computed (surrogate only) results have been compared, the selection ...

Spray pyrolysis deposited multiferroic BiFeO3 films [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Physics, 2009
BiFeO 3 (BFO) films were prepared by nebulized spray pyrolysis technique on a single crystal LaAlO3 (001) substrate at ∼300 °C and annealing in oxygen at ∼550 °C for 1 h. In all films BFO is the majority phase having a rhombohedrally distorted structure with R3m symmetry and lattice parameters are a=3.96 Å and α=89.7°.

Nature of Nitrogen Incorporation in BiVO4 Photoanodes through Chemical and Physical Methods [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In recent years, BiVO4 has been optimized as a photoanode material to produce photocurrent densities close to its theoretical maximum under AM1.5 solar illumination. Its performance is, therefore, limited by its 2.4 eV bandgap.

Fabrication of oxidized CuO and spray-pyrolyzed TiO2 heterojunction thin film

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2019
A heterojunction device was fabricated via oxidation of a thin film and spray pyrolysis. In this work, a copper oxide (CuO) film was grown via magnetron sputtering of Cu film deposited on pre-cut glass substrates and subsequent oxidation at 450 °C in air.

Spray-processed nanoporous BiVO4 photoanodes with high charge separation efficiency for oxygen evolution

open access: yesAPL Materials, 2020
Spray pyrolysis is a convenient method for fabricating BiVO4 photoanondes from a precursor solution. As the precursor solution of spray pyrolysis can significantly influence the nanostructure and the amount of oxygen vacancies of the final films ...
