Effects of Multiple Mechanical Recycling Loops on the Material Properties of Liquid Silicone Rubber
Polymer Engineering &Science, EarlyView.Mechanical recycling of liquid silicone rubbers was investigated by grinding LSR production waste to small pieces, which are then used as filler in new products with varying percentages of recycled content. Four consecutive reprocessing cycles showed that multiple mechanical recycling loops are possible without significant loss of material performance.

Modeled Subsidence of Permafrost Terrain 2025–2050: North‐Central Alaska
Permafrost and Periglacial Processes, EarlyView.ABSTRACT A large fraction of the Alaska terrain is underlain by regolith that contains excess ice (ice that in volume exceeds the natural pore space). Possible loss of excess ice would lead to ground subsidence, which in turn would disturb and destabilize the ground surface.
