Transcriptional regulation of neuropeptide receptors underlies context‐dependent adaptation in Drosophila melanogaster

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, Volume 16, Issue 1, Page 90-115, January 2026.
Under environmental changes, the expression level of neuropeptide (NP) and neuropeptide receptor (NPR) genes changes to confer context‐dependent adaptation to the model organism Drosophila melanogaster. Through finding more regulatory elements in the NPR genes in comparison with their ligands (NPs), we found that NPR‐biased transcriptional regulation ...

Brain‐peripheral proteome crosstalk in Alzheimer's disease with and without diabetes mellitus

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract BACKGROUND Although considerable research has investigated diabetes mellitus (DM) as a risk factor for Alzheimer's disease (AD) dementia, the mechanistic understanding of the associations between peripheral and central biological processes in AD and AD within DM remains limited.

Four Distinct Dynamic Intracranial Pressure Trajectories and Their Prognostic Implications in Acute Brain Injury: A Multicenter Cohort Study

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 1, January 2026.
Across a multicenter ICU cohort (n = 1700), latent‐class modeling of 0–120 h ICP identified four trajectories. Severe progressive and stabilized‐elevated patterns carried the greatest mortality risk (HR 13.54 and 2.53), with mildly elevated‐stable showing modest risk (HR 1.48).

SQLi‐ScanEval: A Framework for Design and Evaluation of SQLi Detection Using Vulnerability and Penetration Testing Scanners

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 1, January 2026.
This paper proposes SQLi‐ScanEval Framework, a standardized SQLi detection system that integrates vulnerability and penetration testing scanners into a standardized framework. It tested seven prominent SQLi vulnerability scanners including OWASP ZAP, Wapiti, Vega, Acunetix, Invicti, Burp Suite, and Arachni on two prominent vulnerable testing ...

Features of SQL table expressions and their compliance with the concepts of relational model

open access: yesТруды Института системного программирования РАН, 2018
The paper analyses a behavior of the SQL standard’s table expressions in comparison with relational equivalents. The concept of relation of relational model presumes nonexistence of duplicate tuples, attributes of the same name, ordering of attributes ...

FAIR Workflows in Earth System Modelling: A Use Case With Semantic Data Management

open access: yesGeoscience Data Journal, Volume 13, Issue 1, January 2026.
We present a semantic research data management workflow that enables the re‐use of legacy simulation datasets in accordance with FAIR principles. The approach integrates automated semantic annotation, queryable data access, and a connected JupyterHub for FAIR‐compliant output analysis and storage of derived results. ABSTRACT The amount of research data
