One‐Dimensional Covalent Organic Framework: Synthesis and Photoelectronic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
The functional monomer structures, synthetic strategies, and the related applications of one‐dimensional covalent organic frameworks, as well as their current challenges and future development directions, have been summarized and prospected. One‐dimensional covalent organic frameworks (1D COFs) are linear porous materials constructed from organic units

Pan‐Immune‐Inflammation Value for Mortality Risk Stratification in Critically Ill Patients With Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Cohort Study Based on the MIMIC‐IV Database

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 3, March 2026.
This study identified a nonlinear, reverse L‐shaped relationship between the pan‐immune‐inflammation value (PIV) and all‐cause mortality (ACM) in critically ill acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients, with a distinct threshold for risk stratification. Furthermore, the prognostic value of PIV was significantly stronger in patients without sepsis.

Impact of early dexmedetomidine administration on short‐ and long‐term outcomes in critically traumatic brain injury patients: A retrospective study using the MIMIC‐IV database

open access: yesIbrain, Volume 12, Issue 1, Page 137-150, Spring 2026.
Our retrospective analysis of the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care‐IV (MIMIC‐IV) database suggests that early use of dexmedetomidine is associated with lower short‐term (28‐day and in‐hospital) and long‐term (1‐year) mortality in patients with traumatic brain injury.

Non‐pharmacologic therapies for treating sexual dysfunction during pregnancy: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, Volume 172, Issue 3, Page 1317-1334, March 2026.
Abstract Background Sexual dysfunction during pregnancy is a common problem, and can occur as the result of various physical, hormonal, and emotional changes that women experience during this period. Non‐pharmacologic treatments are recommended due to the restrictions on medications during this period.

CellOntologyMapper: Consensus mapping of cell type annotation

open access: yesiMetaOmics, Volume 3, Issue 1, March 2026.
CellOntologyMapper automates the standardization of cell type annotations in single‐cell RNA‐seq by mapping user‐defined names to the Cell Ontology (CL) and Cell Taxonomy (CT). The framework constructs a comprehensive embedding database of 19,381 curated cell types using sentence transformers, large language models, and synonym expansion.

Limno‐STOICH: A comprehensive database linking the elemental stoichiometry of organisms with inland aquatic habitats

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography Letters, Volume 11, Issue 2, March 2026.
Abstract All organisms contain carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus in widely ranging amounts and proportions. Integrating existing datasets enables quantification of this variation at global scales. Such efforts could leverage ecological stoichiometry theory, the study of elemental supply and imbalances in ecological interactions, to connect ecological ...

Analysis of Stepped‐Wedge Cluster Randomized Trials: A Tutorial Using Marginal Models

open access: yesStatistics in Medicine, Volume 45, Issue 6-7, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Stepped‐wedge cluster randomized trials (SW‐CRTs) are one‐way crossover trials that randomize clusters (i.e., groups) of individuals to the time point (period) at which an intervention is introduced into the cluster. In these designs, the intervention under evaluation is introduced into all of the clusters by the end of the study in a series ...
