A Combined Infrared Spectroscopy Database and Analysis Tool

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
Modern DFT software often lacks sufficient tooling to adjust for peak broadening effects in infrared spectroscopy. The described application approximates peak width using Gaussian functions, allowing for real‐time adjustments and comparisons with experimental and simulated spectra, in addition to a spectral database.

Charge‐Assisted Hydrogen‐Bonded Organic Frameworks: From Crystal Engineering to Multifunctional Materials

open access: yesChemistry–Methods, EarlyView.
This review briefly highlights the construction of charge‐assisted hydrogen‐bonded organic frameworks using a variety of organic acids and organic bases, which feature different hydrogen‐bonding motifs, along with their applications, including negative linear compressibility, proton conduction, atmospheric water harvesting, gas adsorption and ...

Relation-Aware Graph Transformer for SQL-to-Text Generation

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
Generating natural language descriptions for structured representation (e.g., a graph) is an important yet challenging task. In this work, we focus on SQL-to-text, a task that maps a SQL query into the corresponding natural language question.

Bulky Ligands for Open Channels: Manganese (II) sql MOFs from Pyridyl‐Functionalised [3]Polynorbornanes

open access: yesChemPlusChem, EarlyView.
Two new [n]polynorbornane based ligands (LMe and LEt) form isoreticular sql MOFs with crystal structure analysis revealing neatly aligned nets creating large accessible 1D channels with a distinct lack of interpenetration. The ester moieties of these ligands orient into the channels highlighting potential of these ligands for the construction of MOFs ...

Retrieval-augmented GPT-3.5-based Text-to-SQL Framework with Sample-aware Prompting and Dynamic Revision Chain [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
Text-to-SQL aims at generating SQL queries for the given natural language questions and thus helping users to query databases. Prompt learning with large language models (LLMs) has emerged as a recent approach, which designs prompts to lead LLMs to understand the input question and generate the corresponding SQL.

Predicting right ventricular failure after left ventricular assist device implant: A novel approach

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, EarlyView.
Abstract Aims Right ventricular (RV) failure (RVF) after left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implant is an important cause of morbidity and mortality. Modern, data‐driven approaches for defining and predicting RVF have been under‐utilized. Methods Two hundred thirty‐two patients were identified with a mean age of 55 years; 40 (17%) were women, 132 ...

Improving Text-to-SQL Evaluation Methodology [PDF]

open access: yesAnnual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics, 2018
To be informative, an evaluation must measure how well systems generalize to realistic unseen data. We identify limitations of and propose improvements to current evaluations of text-to-SQL systems.

The Nirmiti application: An innovative tool for extending CanReg5 analyses to cancer mortality and paediatric cancer

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
What's New? CanReg5, developed by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), is an important open‐access tool for the collection, quality assurance, and analysis of population‐based cancer registry (PBCR) data. The tool has limitations, however.
