Determination of cefonicid in human urine by adsorptive square-wave stripping voltammetry

Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 2003
The adsorption behavior of cefonicid on the hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) has been examined using cyclic voltammetry and square-wave voltammetry techniques in Britton-Robinson (B-R) buffers in the pH range of 2.0-11.0. The effect of different parameters on the accumulation behavior of the adsorbed species has been evaluated.

DETERMINATION OF LANSOPRAZOLE IN HUMAN SERUM BY SQUARE WAVE ADSORPTIVE STRIPPING VOLTAMMETRY

Analytical Letters, 2002
ABSTRACT The electrochemical behavior of the proton pump inhibitor drug lansoprazole was investigated by cyclic and square-wave voltammetry on a hanging mercury drop electrode. Lansoprazole showed single cathodic peak in Britton–Robinson buffer solution (0.04 M; pH 9.0) at −1.310 V vs. Ag–AgCl–sat. KCl.

A study of the determination of the hypertensive drug captopril by square wave cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry

Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 2003
In this work, the determination of captopril (CPL) was studied by square wave cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry (SWCAdSV) on a hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE). CPL was adsorptively preconcentrated on the mercury surface as a sparingly soluble mercury salt under stirring of the solution and then the accumulated species was reduced by a ...

Determination of Dimethoate in Olive Oil by Adsorptive Stripping Square-Wave Voltammetry

Electroanalysis, 2006
AbstractA method for the determination of dimethoate in olive oil by adsorptive stripping square‐wave voltammetry has been developed on the base that this pesticide is hydrolyzed in basic media giving rise to an adsorptive‐reductive peak at −0.780 V. Extraction of dimethoate from olive oil with ethanol‐water and posterior clean‐up with C18 cartridges ...

Novel Application of Square-Wave Adsorptive-Stripping Voltammetry for the Determination of Xanthohumol in Spent Hops

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2011
This paper reports the development of a novel electrochemical assay for xanthohumol (XN) by square-wave adsorptive-stripping voltammetry (SWAdSV) with a hanging mercury drop electrode. The method showed good repeatability (CV < 2%) and linearity (between 10 and 250 μg L(-1)), as well as suitable limits of detection (2.6 μg L(-1)) and quantification (8 ...

Square wave adsorptive stripping voltammetric determination of famotidine in urine [PDF]

open access: yesTalanta, 2005
Electrochemical studies of famotidine were carried out using voltammetric techniques: cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep and square wave adsorptive stripping voltammetry.

Square-wave adsorptive stripping voltammetry of menadione (vitamin K3)

Talanta, 1988
Menadione (vitamin K(3)) undergoes a reversible two-electron transfer involving the quinone structure in acidic medium. As demonstrated by using cyclic voltammetry, the reduced form is more strongly adsorbed than the oxidized one. Stripping voltammetry of an adsorbed layer has been applied to the determination of this molecule after preconcentration of

Determination of Vitamin K1by Adsorptive Stripping Square-Wave Voltammetry

Analytical Letters, 1972
Abstract The adsorption of vitamin Ki at a hanging mercury drop electrode at pH 4.2 allows the determination of this compound in the 1 × 10−6 M − 1 × 10−9 M concentration range. Applying a square-wave potential scan provides a 200-fold increase of the peak current compared to differential pulse stripping voltammetry.

Theory of square-wave stripping voltammetry with adsorptive accumulation

Fresenius' Zeitschrift für Analytische Chemie, 1989
A model of the anion-induced adsorptive accumulation combined with a square-wave voltammetric stripping is developed. The dependence of peak currents and peak potentials on the reversibility of redox reactions and on the reaction mechanism is demonstrated. The sensitivity of the method is estimated.

Determination of tetramethrin by adsorptive stripping with square wave voltammetry

Electroanalysis, 1992
AbstractThe present work reports on an adsorptive stripping voltammetric procedure for the determination of tetramethrin. The best conditions found were pH 4 in 0.2 mol/L acetic acid/acetate buffer solution, and accumulation potential of −0.5 V (vs. Ag/AgCl electrode), an accumulation time of 60 s, frequency 120 Hz, step potential (Es) 2 mV.
