Micropillar‐Engineered Hybrid Adhesive Patch for Surface‐Conformable and Directional Adhesion
This work presents a surface‐conformable hybrid adhesive integrating height‐optimized hexagonal micropillars with open‐rectangular cuts. The micropillars enhance rough‐surface contact and microscale crack arrest, while the cuts guide and reverse interfacial cracks for strong and directional adhesion. The multiscale architecture achieves robust pull‐off

Pressure effect in a differentially heated square cavity
Our purpose is to study the effects of the pressure work forces on natural convection in a square cavity, with numerical simulations using a 2D compressible model. The results obtained show the pressure effect in the energy balance for two cases, the first one under a microgravity field and the other one with very low differences of temperature.

This article presents a hybrid metal‐dielectric metasurface in transmission mode for mid‐infrared (MIR) spectroscopy. Composed of germanium on aluminium cylinders atop a calcium fluoride substrate, the metasurface achieves 80% transmission efficiency at λ = 2.6 µm with a narrow full‐width‐half‐maximum of 0.4 µm.

A Multi‐Resonant Tunable Fabry‐Pérot Cavity for High Throughput Spectral Imaging
This study introduces a multi‐resonant tunable Fabry‐Pérot filter for high throughput spectral imaging. With a spectral resolution of 10 nm and a switching time of 23 ms, this compact and low‐cost device possesses better spectral imaging accuracy in poor light conditions while maintaining over six times higher optical throughput than standard liquid ...
