Square-section cavity resonators for VHF mobile radio
International Journal of Electronics, 1977It is shown that VHF coaxial cavity resonators give higher unloaded Q for the same overall dimensions if the cross-section of the outer conductor is square rather than circular. Experimental results to confirm the theory are included.

The Physics of Fluids, 2019
The phenomenon of natural convection in a square cavity filled with a copper-water nanofluid is investigated numerically. The studied domain is a square cavity with hot and cold isothermal walls at x = 0 and x = L, respectively, while the other walls are

Bandwidth behavior of miniature square cavity microstrip antennas
2013 IEEE-APS Topical Conference on Antennas and Propagation in Wireless Communications (APWC), 2013Integrating an antenna onto a specific platform of small size often requires its placement in a metallic cavity. The main consequence is the reduction of the antenna bandwidth. The objective of our study is to investigate the maximum possible bandwidth at a fixed frequency of 2.3 GHz for a patch antenna in a small square cavity.

Double diffusive nonlinear convection in a square cavity
Fluid Dynamics Research, 2000Combined temperature and species gradients induced buoyancy-driven natural convection flow of cold water at temperatures in the neighbourhood of the temperature of maximum density is investigated. Further, it is assumed that the addition of solutes to pure water raises the temperature of maximum density.

Second Sound in Square and Cubical Cavities
Physical Review, 1964The response of closed square and cubical cavities to linear standing waves of second sound in helium ii has been studied. In a square cavity, when the number of half-wavelengths $n$ along one side is even, a linear wave in the $x$ direction couples loosely with the $y$ direction, producing standing waves in both directions at two resonant frequencies,
