Geometrical Resonance Conditions for THz Radiation from the Intrinsic Josephson Junctions in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+d [PDF]
Subterahertz radiation emitted from a variety of short rectangular-, square-, and disk-shaped mesas of intrinsic Josephson junctions fabricated from a Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+d single crystal was studied from the observed I-V characteristics, far-infrared spectra,

Natural convection in partially heated square cavity
Numerical investigations were led in a square cavity (L=1), filled with air, of which a partially heated wall, by using a numerical code based on the finite difference method. The length of the heated part, at constant temperature, varies from 20 % to 80 % of the total length. The opposite vertical wall is supposed cold.

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Optimal state estimation for cavity optomechanical systems
We demonstrate optimal state estimation for a cavity optomechanical system through Kalman filtering. By taking into account nontrivial experimental noise sources, such as colored laser noise and spurious mechanical modes, we implement a realistic state ...

Relapsing–Remitting Multiple Sclerosis Is Associated With a Dysbiotic Oral Microbiome
ABSTRACT Objective Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disorder characterized by inflammation, demyelination, and neurological impairment. While the gut microbiota's role in MS is extensively studied, the association between the oral microbiota and MS remains underexplored, particularly in North American cohorts.

Objective Mycophenolate Mofetil (MMF) use in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) is relatively uncommon due to the lower fibrotic burden and the predominance of the vascular complications. In vitro observations and clinical data from transplanted patients suggest a protective effect of MMF on endothelial function.
